Every Piece Matters: What to Expect at the 2026 FrankTown Annual Dinner
When you picture Franklin, Tennessee, you likely think of its historic charm, vibrant downtown, and incredible economic growth. But tucked within one of the most affluent counties in the state is a quiet reality: hundreds of inner-city and under-resourced youth are fighting to break the cycle of generational poverty.
For over two decades, FrankTown Open Hearts has stood in the gap, providing local students with the academic tutoring, vocational training, and spiritual mentorship they need to thrive.
On August 17, 2026, the community will come together for our premier fundraising event of the year: The 2026 FrankTown Annual Dinner. This year’s theme, “Every Piece Matters,” reflects a powerful truth; that transforming a community requires every single one of us playing a part.
Whether you are a long-time supporter or attending for the very first time, here is what you can expect from this inspiring evening.
1. A Celebration of True Impact (The 99% Launch)
The Annual Dinner isn’t just about looking ahead; it’s about celebrating what your support has already accomplished. You will hear firsthand updates on FrankTown’s incredible milestones, including our consecutive years of achieving a 99% “launch” rate, meaning every single one of our graduating high school seniors successfully moved directly into college, trade school, an apprenticeship, or stable employment.
2. Stories Directly from Our Students
There is no better way to understand the heart of FrankTown than to hear from the kids themselves. The evening will feature powerful testimonials from students and families whose lives have been altered by our 30+ weekly programs. From students discovering their career paths in our automotive and welding shops to those finding confidence through our reading and STEM classes, you’ll see exactly where your investments go.
3. An Inside Look at “A Home for FrankTown”
We are operating at maximum capacity, currently reaching about one-twelfth of the estimated 2,000 under-resourced youth in the Williamson County area. This year’s dinner will feature a major update on our capital campaign to build a permanent, 16,000-square-foot facility at the corner of Academy and Granbury St. You’ll get a sneak peek at the progress of this new home, which will finally bring all of our educational, creative, and vocational trades under one roof.
4. Fellowship with a Purpose
The room will be packed with local business leaders, church groups, and passionate individuals who care deeply about the future of Franklin. It’s an incredible night of networking, fellowship, and collective action. You will have the opportunity to participate in vital fundraising moments, whether that means sponsoring a child’s tuition for the year, helping fund the fuel for our student buses, or contributing directly to the new building fund.
