Automotive Program

What do they have in common? TOOLS!

Not only do our students learn the basics of car maintenance and repair, in our Automotive Program, it also allows them to fix donated cars which are then re-gifted back to the community to a family in need or to a FrankTown student who has completed the program.

In the past four years, FrankTown has repaired and re-gifted 46 cars to families/students in need.

The Automotive Program is self-sustaining – the proceeds from cars we sell (because they are beyond repairing) goes directly back into the program to fund the replacement parts and repairs to the cars we repair and re-gift. FrankTown has not spent a single dollar on this program!

It’s a system that works!
1. Cars get donated (by generous donors like you!)
2. Cars are inspected and repaired by our students (supervised by volunteer mechanics)
3. Cars are then DONATED back to the community to a family with a child in our program, or even to one of the students!

This year our goal is to repair and donate 10 cars. To make this happen, we need your help. Our students need the TOOLS.

We are so thankful for our newly acquired property for the Future Home of FrankTown! Our students are ready to mow and maintain the land on the corner of Granbury St. & Academy St. in Franklin, they just need the Lawn Care TOOLS to do it!

By donating to TOOLS FOR STUDENTS, you will help FrankTown fulfill its mission and give the students the opportunity to learn and grow. The tools needed include riding mower, push mower, trimmer and other Lawn Care items. For the Automotive Program we need help with the purchase of larger tools and equipment and funding for replacement parts or additional repairs at local shops.

Will you help us reach our goal of $15,000 and give a gift today of $100, $500 or more?

We have also set-up an Amazon Wishlist for the smaller tools.

When you sign in using your AmazonSmile account and shop our Wish List,

FrankTown will receive 0.5% as a donation.
