Promote Outdoor Safety, Appreciation and Responsibility

Students learn core outdoor tenants that promote safety, appreciation and responsibility for themselves and natural resources. Examples include identifying various wildlife, plants, and terrain, as well as land conservation. Basic wilderness survival like starting a safe fire, camping, and fishing are also core components of the program.
